Shri B. Nagi Reddi's Birth Centenary Celebration


Free Medical Camp - 02/12/2012

 
 

The free medical camp was conducted on 2nd December 2012 to Commemorate the Birth Anniversary of our beloved founder Shri B. Nagi Reddi Garu. The camp is conducted yearly as a remembrance to the high ideals of our founder and also to reinstate the high principles of service to the society as emulated by our founder. The Camp was inaugurated by our beloved Trustee Mr.B.Venkatrama Reddy and CEO Mrs.B.Bharathi Reddy. After lighting of Kuthuvillaku by Trustee Mr.B.Venkatrama Reddy, CEO Mrs.B.Bharathi Reddy, General Manager Mr.Rambabu, CMO Dr.Padmini and CMO Dr.Babu, Trustee and CEO distributed prizes to the winners of the recently concluded Infection Control Week and Sports Week. The Winners of the event participated enthusiastically in the function and received the prices.

The first case sheet of the camp was given away by CEO to the first participant. The attendees of the camp got registered in the registration counter and along with registration card, a biscuit packet and water bottle was given. Then they underwent height, weight and blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring. After that they were screened by the Medical Officers by taking a thorough history and full physical examination. Then according to the needs and the necessity, they were referred further for investigation and specialist opinion. Hence after screening by the medical officer the attendees went for blood investigations (Hemoglobin, Total Leukocyte count, Platelet count Urea and Creatinine). Then screening X Ray was taken according to the need and Electrocardiogram was taken according to the complaints of the attendees. After doing the preliminary screening ,blood investigation and imaging the attendees went on to see the Specialists. The various specialists present at the camp were, General Physician, Cardiologist, Gastroenterologist, Neurologist, Pulmonologist, Pediatrician, Orthopedician, Dental specialist, ENT Specialist, Nephrologist, General Surgeon, Urologist and Dermatologist. After consulting with the specialist, the attendees proceeded on to pharmacy to collect free medicines.

During the afternoon lunch was provided to the attendees taking into account the full day camp. In the middle refreshments were also served. There was a very good response from the local populace. The camp was a grand success with 637 participants. They were happy and satisfied, for the camp was complete with initial screening, necessary blood investigation, X Ray, ECG, audiometry and free consultation from the Top Consultants of Chennai. Those attendees who had a necessity for further work up and surgery were asked to report to the hospital with the promise that all the tests, investigation and procedures including surgeries will be done at a 25% discount within one week. Overall the medical camp conducted to Commemorate the Birth Centenary of our founder was a grand success.
