Shri B. Nagi Reddi's Birth Centenary Celebration

International Women’s day was celebrated on March 3rd as part of Shri B. Nagi Reddi Centenary celebrations of Vijaya Group of Hospitals, organized by Mrs. Bharathi Reddy, the CEO of Vijaya Group of Hospitals along with Mrs. Vasundra Reddy W/O Shri B. Venugopal Reddy, Managing Trustee Vijaya Medical & Educational Trust.

 
On this day Padmashree Dr. Jaya Arunachalam (Founder & President of WWF) & Ms. Letika Saran (DGP, TN) were the Chief Guests honored for their contribution and services in enriching the life of needy women.


Mrs. Bharathi Reddy in her welcome address and speech dedicated her achievements and success in every aspect to her mother in law Seshamma And mother Sharadamma from whom she learnt humility compassion and self confidence.


Dr. Jaya Arunachalam lauded the growth of Vijaya Hospitals providing Quality Health care at affordable cost.  As a founder - President of Women Welfare forum insisted on creating awareness on the health care especially with the poor and needy children and working women. She also mentioned that the WWF is working on enhancing the health and economic development from the grass root levels.


Ms. Letika Saran – IPS, in her inspiring speech shared a few true incidents of girl children who have made big having escaped from death as an infant. She also mentioned that Women officers hold 42% of the police force in Tamilnadu. She said that Women should be given equal opportunities be it in learning, working or in decision making. She mentioned that gender bias in children should be completely eradicated and that women are the bread winners of most of the household especially in the poor families. She insisted in being supportive with the children in encouraging pursuing their interest instead of forcing them only to be No.1 in just academics which may affect their self confidence.


Dr. Padmini the CMO of Vijaya health care thanked the chief guests for their valuable experiences and thanked one and all for their presence.
