CEO's SPEECH

On behalf of the Trustee Sir & General Manager, I am indeed proud and delighted to participate in the Inaugural Seminar of Vijaya Educational Academy.  I would also like to thank our Vice Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University Dr.Mayil Vahanan Natarajan for the support he has extended to Vijaya Group of Hospitals.

My greetings to all of you.

I would like to welcome and introduce Dr. Srilakshmi, Registrar -  The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University for consenting to be the Chief Guest of Seminar. I would also like to welcome all the students present here who have come with a lot of enthusiasm.

We all are aware that Allied Health Science plays an important role in diagnostics and treatments. With the advance of medical science and complex medical equipment, demand for trained and qualified paramedical manpower is growing. According to WHO analysis the Doctor Population ratio is 1:1000 and each Doctor needs a minimum of 8 support health personnel and we are thoroughly inadequate in this field. Already you are aware, about the role of Nurses, Pharmacists, Laboratory Technicians etc. Apart from these, there are 60 more specializations in the Allied and Paramedical areas which are thoroughly job oriented and give ample job opportunities.

In Vijaya Educational Academy we have highly qualified, committed and motivated faculty. We also have well equipped laboratories, clinics for in house on the job training. I take this opportunity to congratulate the Principal and the Teachers of our Academy who have contributed in teaching, these young students, with so much zeal and commitment. I believe that the single most important factor in determining a Students success is not where they come from or who they are it’s finally who their teacher is. I would also like to thank all the speakers who have kindly consented to be a part of this seminar and I am sure all here will benefit from their lectures.

I came across a beautiful quote of our former president Dr.Abdul Kalam which I would like to share with all of you…

It doesn’t matter who I am,
I will work, work and work,
All the forces of the universe will also assist me,
I will achieve what I dream,
Even reaching any part of our galaxy.

I am sure many of you here who have joined us in this seminar will follow your dreams to become, what you are aspiring for.
